Deep Down In The Forest

sun rays through trees🌳. Botanical garden, Curepipe.

I love strange stories and metaphorical poems, for I am interested in mysteries, the intrigue, and mystical things. I work hard to bring an eerie ambiance in the stories and poems I write, wanting the reader to travel in my own mind.

Deep Down In The Forest

Deep down in the forest I looked for you
Deep in the cave I heard you
You were then calling my name

I searched through the roots of trees
Under tiny stones covered of moss
In little ponds filled of creatures
But the echo of your voice was fainting

I ran through the cavernous rooms
Praying with all might to find you
But sadly, it was all in vain

I then reached the frightening pit
Below the dark of all dark
And there suddenly I saw
All your bones in its mouth —
The mouth of the deep forest.

Hello everyone, and welcome to my personal blog. This is a self-taught adventure in creative writing, craft that I am passionate about; learning writing and all the stuff that concerns this industry while surfing on the waves of the internet, and I aspire to make a living through selling my own books and blogging, because why not. I live on the island of Mauritius with my husband, my two children, and my muse. I am an eclectic person, love the sublime and the strange; I am also interested in all types and forms of art that please my mind.
