You give life
Without you
Everything withers

We all smell bad.
Water
So precious,
Morning dews
on my windows
Tiny droplets
on all plants —
Rain, hailstones, snow.
Water
This liquidness
On the tip
of my tongue,
This primeval
molecule —
A body in which
We all dive.
Water
I hope you remain
In spongy clouds
To keep falling down
In lakes, oceans, rivers
Irrigating
our dependent body,
Food, and reservoirs.
Water
You give life
You keep Earth
Viridescent,
And without you
Everything dies.
