Vanishing

“My homage to the ‘father of mindfulness’ – Thích Nhất Hạnh (October 11, 1926 – January 22, 2022).”

Vanishing
Walking away
On the tips of your toes,
Closing your eyes
To welcome the night,
Leaving behind
That learning vessel,
Forgetting everything
To remember again,
Swirling away
Inside of that stardust,
Becoming again
A floating intelligence,
Wandering away
To a new world,
Finding yourself again
Again and again, again,
Vanishing silently
As the flower closes itself,
Sailing away
With a well kept secret,
Departing
To become a beautiful star.
