Deep Down In The Forest

I love strange stories and metaphorical poems, for I am interested in mysteries, the intrigue, and mystical things. I work hard to bring an eerie ambiance in the stories and poems I write, wanting the reader to travel in my own mind.

Deep Down In The Forest
Deep down in the forest I looked for you
Deep in the cave I heard you
You were then calling my name
I searched through the roots of trees
Under tiny stones covered of moss
In little ponds filled of creatures
But the echo of your voice was fainting
I ran through the cavernous rooms
Praying with all might to find you
But sadly, it was all in vain
I then reached the frightening pit
Below the dark of all dark
And there suddenly I saw
All your bones in its mouth —
The mouth of the deep forest.
